Dining Out with DMWS

Our January Dining Out with DMWS event will be January 7th at Bull City Burger and Brewery from 5:00 – 8:30 pm.

Bull City Burger and Brewery will have buckets posted at the registers and bar. Duke Memorial Weekday School will receive 10% of the sales represented by the receipts placed in those buckets.

DMWS Fall Gathering 2019

This year’s Fall Gathering will be held on Sunday, October 13th from 3-5 pm.This is a wonderful opportunity for parents to connect and socialize, and allows students to show off their classrooms and artwork. Come enjoy a magic show by Happy Dan and visit the Book Fair

 

Dining Out with DMWS

Mark your calendars for October’s Dining Out at Picnic on October 24th from 1-8 pm. 10% of sales benefit DMWS! The restaurant is located at 1647 Cole Mill Road, Durham, NC 27705. Be sure to mention your DMWS connection!

Dining Out with DMWS

Our first Dining Out with DMWS of 2019-2020 will be at Mellow Mushroom at the American Tobacco Campus on Tuesday, September 17th, all day!

DMWS will receive 10% of all dine-in and take-out orders when DMWS is mentioned to staff and receipt is placed in the designated location.

 

DMWS Open House

DMWS is hosting an open house  on September 22nd for Duke Memorial United Methodist Church members and guests to come see the school, the new mural, and take a look around. We will start immediately following worship, at about noon.

All Duke Memorial Weekday School parents and children are welcome to come.

 

Summer Camp at DMWS

DMWS is offering 2 weeks of camp. Week 1 will be June 24-28. Week 2 will be July 15-19 from 9 am-12:30 pm. Campers will enjoy a variety of activities including daily music and fitness opportunities. Tuition for camp is $180 per week. Camp is open to rising 3’s through rising first graders.

Duke Memorial Weekday School Summer Camp 2019

Mark your calendars for DMWS Summer Camp! This summer, DMWS will offer 2 weeks of camp. You will be able to sign up for one or two weeks. Week 1 will be June 24-28. DMWS Canned Food Drive

Duke Memorial Weekday School sponsors a canned food drive to support the Food Pantry at Urban Ministries of Durham each February. This year, students may bring in canned food items between Feb. 4 and Feb 15.

We will line the hallway with the donations and students will be able to use the cans for math activities before we bag them to be donated. Students love seeing the items fill the hallway!
