Admission

Mural at Duke Memorial Weekday School in DurhamAdmission is open to all, regardless of race, gender or religious affiliation, and to students who will broaden the socioeconomic, racial, cultural and religious diversity of the school. Registration for the general public is done by lottery each spring.

An updated physical and current immunization record from your child’s doctor is required every year of enrollment.  If your child has a legal, medical exemption from any vaccination required by the state of NC, please see the Director.  The Director will review the application on a case by case basis, weighing the possible impact and risks of the child’s vaccination status on other students, their families, and staff.  DMWS does not accept vaccination exemptions based on statements of religious belief or opposition to the immunization requirements.

Admittance Cut Off Date
