Canned Food Drive for Urban Ministries

Each February, DMWS sponsors a canned food drive to support the Food Pantry at Urban Ministries of Durham. This year, students may bring in canned food items between Feb. 2 and Feb 13. We will line the hallway with the donations and students will be able to use the cans for math activities before we bag them to be donated. The children love seeing the items fill the hallway. Last year we collected 502 nonperishable items, our highest total ever!! Can we surpass that number this year?

Spring Carnival and Silent Auction – April 11, 2026

Spring Carnival & Silent Auction on April 11th The Spring Carnival and Silent Auction is the largest fundraiser hosted by Parents’ Council.
