Each February, DMWS sponsors a canned food drive to support the Food Pantry at Urban Ministries of Durham. This year, students may bring in canned food items between Feb. 6 and Feb 17.
We will line the hallway with the donations and students will be able to use the cans for math activities before we bag them to be donated. The children love seeing the items fill the hallway.

Our February event is at Pomodoro Italian Kitchen (1811 Hillandale Road, Durham, NC 27705). Duke Memorial Weekday School will receive 10% of the sales for the day (dine in and take out). Pomodoro Italian Kitchen is open from 11 am until 9 pm.
