Diaper Drive for the Diaper Bank of NC

During the month of January, Duke Memorial UMC is sponsoring a diaper/wipes drive to benefit the Diaper Bank. Full or partial packages of diapers in all sizes are accepted. You may bring diapers to DMWS to donate or take them to the Sanctuary on January 13 when the children sing in worship.

 

Registration for next year begins on January 30. In order to hold a spot for 2019-2020 at the time of registration, you will pay a registration fee of $75 for returning students ($85 for new students). All registration fees are non-refundable.

During Parent Conferences on January 28 and 29, you will receive an application for each of your currently enrolled children. Applications for siblings will be available in the office. Priority for registration is as follows:

• Current Students
• Siblings of current students
• Children of church members/ministerial staff
• Children and grandchildren of DMWS faculty/staff
• Siblings of former DMWS students
• Children and grandchildren of DMWS alumni
• Children of current PMO teachers and DMUMC support staff
• General Public

 

Our Registration Dates Are:

• Wednesday, January 30: Registration opens
• Thursday, February 7: Initial Registration deadline (you must meet this deadline to retain your priority in the registration process)
• Monday, February 11: Notification of Class Assignment
• Tuesday, February 19: Facilities fee of $50 plus one month’s tuition due (tuition credited to May 2020). After this payment, your child’s spot is secured for next year. This payment is also non-refundable.

Dining Out with DMWS

January’s Dining Out will be January 15 at Freddy’s (3303 Watkins Rd, Durham, NC 27707), 5-9pm, dine-in or takeout and could vary between 10-30% to the school based on attendance! Please plan to grab dinner at Freddy’s to support DMWS!

A big thank you to our friends at Picnic, they have donated over $200 to benefit DMWS after December’s Dining Out event. If you are at one of our dining out restaurants, please be sure to thank them for their generosity and support in the community! This semester we’ve partnered with Mellow Mushroom, PDQ, Pour Taproom and Picnic!
