DMWS Canned Food Drive for Urban Ministries

Each February, DMWS has a canned food drive to support the Food Pantry at Urban Ministries of Durham.

This year, students may bring in canned food items between Feb. 1 and Feb 15. We will line the hallway with the donations and students will be able to use the cans for math activities before we bag them to be donated. Students love seeing the items fill the hallway!

 

Dining Out with DMWS

February’s Dining Out event will take place February 27 from 5-9pm at Freddy’s (3303 Watkins Rd, Durham).

When ordering be sure to mention to the cashier that you are there in support of the DMWS fundraiser, and Freddy’s will return 30% of all fundraiser sales that evening to our school. This applies for dine-in, take-out and drive-thru sales.
